You may want to ensure it doesn't come online after the next IPL, so either update SYSTEM CONFIG to mark it as DRAINED, or clip the volser so it can't be found. This will let you properly format the page area on the volume after the next IPL. Whether you add an additional page volume now depends on how much page space you have available (and I/O rates to the remaining paging volumes). Best regards, Mark L.
