PAGING and T-DISK volumes can be placed in any slot and can be readily moved around. Just don't try that with volumes that contain SPOOL! The reason is that paging and T-disk volumes don't hold persistent data - spool volumes do. Alan Altmark z/VM Development IBM Endicott
