Kris, Thanks for this excellent explanateion.
However it seems quite unsatisfactory. Would it worth to place a FITS request to extend this functionality? I think DDR should be used from DIRMAINT. It is quite cumbersom to do it manually and that is why I have Dirmaint. Best regrads, Florian
