Really? Wow, that's a lot of IP addresses ~(2**24 + 2**20 + 2**16) Fewer
of course with subnetting, but still ...

So there's even more - 172.16 is a /12 subnet so it goes up to 172.31.

172.16.0.0 - 172.31.255.255 (172.16/12 prefix)

I too would stay away from 14.
