Consolidation of resources.  As it is now I have 2 LPARs, one for CPs, and
one for IFLs.  So I physically have to divide up my memory between the
LPARs.  With z/VM mode I would have all the memory in one partition.  I
wouldn't need Hipersocket connections between the LPARs I would use a
vswitch.  DASD sharing would be much easier....  etc...
