What does it take to get a PDF from a CMS file to a successful browser display? We are, for now, using WEBSHARE. We get a message telling us that the file does not start with "%PDF-"; however, all files I have tried do begin with those ASCII characters. We have tried files created by TXT2PDF and ones created by other PDF creators. All display properly when copied to a PC and opened directly with Adobe Reader.
I have tried various settings, including removing the entry for pdf, in the web server's CONFIG file, all to no avail. Note: MS Office files, DOC, XLS and PPT, all work and the PC's default for the PDF extension is Acrobat Reader 8. Regards, Richard Schuh
