Send in your Readers' Comment Forms. That's how you can communicate directly with the people who write the books. As Developers, our job is to create information and give it to the book writers. The writers work hard to make the information understandable *and retrievable*. Sometimes we, individually or together, miss the mark and we depend on you to tell us when something isn't right. Some of our books are 30 years old. They have accreted a lot of material over the years and information that was once easy to find (and remains so for those who know where to look), has been covered over by layer of e-debris(tm). So many books, so little time..... But just to show that we are pro-active, too, the RACF Security Administrator's Guide is currently undergoing a major rewrite to take information that was always "on the side" and integrate it into the mainstream parts of the book so that you will find what you need to know in one pass. Yes, experienced admins will find that we moved their cheese a bit, but it will make people who are new to RACF better able to comprehend what's going on. And maybe *I'll* have better luck finding what *I* want to know. You would think that as many years as I've been dealing with RACF I would have it all memorized. Ha! I have gotten tired of saying "But I thought that information was right *here*. It was before. Wasn't it? No? Oh." :-) Alan Altmark z/VM Development IBM Endicott
