Go to http://www.hercules-390.org/ for definitive answers. The documentation for how to actually set up your configuration file is a little sketchy, but people have posted various working configuration files here, and in the hercules forums to get you through. As Rich stated, as of today, Linux is the only _current_ mainframe operating system that is legal to run on it. (The possible exceptions of running on a mainframe that is already licensed doesn't apply in your case.) Mark Post
