Have a look at the PerfKit 'General I/O Device' report; in the device type column you should find the information you want. The following is from the documentation for this report:

Type         Device type and model.
                For alias parallel access volumes of an IBM DASD
                Subsystem, the device type is replaced by the string:
                -> xxxx
                where xxxx is the device number of the base parallel
                access volume.

I assume this is what you were looking for?
