I'm probably missing something dumb here... We're adding an OSA card (2 ports)to a VM/Linux only system with Dynamic I/O enabled...

First the CHPIDs:
DEFINE CHPID 0C PCHID 160 TYPE OSD SHARED ACC ZVMINT3 ZVMINT4
DEFINE CHPID 0D PCHID 161 TYPE OSD SHARED ACC ZVMINT3 ZVMINT4

Then the CUs:
DEFINE CU 7C00 TYPE OSA CHPID 0C UNITADD 00-FF
DEFINE CU 7D00 TYPE OSA CHPID 0D UNITADD 00-FF

Then the Devices:
DEFINE DEV 7C00-7C1F UNITADD 00 CUNUMBER 7C00
DEFINE DEV 7CFE UNITADD FE CUNUMBER 7C00

DEFINE DEV 7D00-7D1F UNITADD 00 CUNUMBER 7D00
DEFINE DEV 7DFE UNITADD FE CUNUMBER 7D00

I don't see a way to distinguish the OSA devices (TYPE=OSA in the IOCP deck) and the controller device at FE (TYPE=OSAD in the IOCP).

What nugget of understanding has slipped through my grasp...
Thanks,
Lee
