looking in our old z/VM 5.1's CMOD EXEC (dated 9/07/04 10:15:06), it
contains:
RequiredLibs = 'SCEELKED CMSLIB'

RequiredLibs = 'SCEEBND2 CMSLIB'
-------------------- 11 line(s) not displayed ----
RequiredLibs = 'SCEELKED SCEECPP CMSLIB'
-------------------- 11 line(s) not displayed ----
RequiredLibs = 'SCEEBND2 CMSLIB'
The z/VM 5.4 system's CMOD EXEC (dated 6/10/08 7:26:30) contains:
RequiredLibs = 'SCEELKED CMSLIB'
-------------------- 232 line(s) not displayed ---
RequiredLibs = 'SCEEBND2 CMSLIB'
-------------------- 11 line(s) not displayed ----
RequiredLibs = 'SCEELKED SCEECPP CMSLIB'

Is it possible that you are not using a current CMOD EXEC?

IBMLIB TXTLIB
I?m trying to locate this TXTLIB on my z/VM 5.4 system but can?t find it.
What z/VM products would this library have been shipped with?
Further, we use the C language infrequently and when I try to do a CMOD,
it fusses because it can?t find IBMLIB TXTLIB
