There was a PMR opened with IBM last summer regarding Flashcopy not working
with older F20 devices. This was fixed in October of last year. It was a PE
against the new Flashcopy feature. I will check my office email account
tomorrow to see what number IBM assigned to problem. In any event the fix
works well.

Not a problem with VMSEUCRE.

Thank you, Mr. Schmiedge, I shall do that.

I noticed when I do a "Q DASD DETAILS " against the source and target in

z/VM 3.1, it reports the "CUTYPE" as a "3990-E9" even though I
specify "2105" in the IOCP of the 9672 that's running my z/VM 3.1 system.

When I do the same "Q DASD DETAILS" against those very same addresses in

z/VM 5.4 on the z800 it reports the "CUTYPE" as a "2105-E8", also
with "2105" in the IOCP for the z800.

But that may be simply z/VM 5.4 being "smarter" and not relevant to the

problem I'm having. Then again....
