We don't do any special INITs for the restore. We take the DASD the hot site has as is and just restore our stuff over top of their DASD. We do have a DR system config that is just a minimal setup. We do this to get z/VM up and running. We then go in an "fix" the normal system config to match the DR site. We don't have a DR director.
