Yes thanks .. although a command on the zVM level will be more useful
since I don't need to login to each linux guest console to check whether
it has access to crypto or not.

QUERY VIRTUAL CRYPTO on the guest will tell you if the user has
access.  (You could do that from Linux with vmcp q virtual crypto).
The operator command is Q CRYPTO AP to show if the hardware is
available.
