Hello Rich, I am sure that I have asked this question before.
With the physical CACHE available on most DASD subsystems, is MDC still a good performance enhancement for MDISK If you are not paging? Or is there a chance of a MDC hit and a Cache hit at the sametime. That is, if you have enough storage available for MDC and aren't doing significant paging. -- Rich Smrcina Phone: 414-491-6001 http://www.linkedin.com/in/richsmrcina Catch the WAVV! http://www.wavv.org WAVV 2010 - Apr 9-13, 2010 Covington, KY
