Just to clarify. If you didn't have volume in CPOWNED list in SYSTEM CONFIG at last IPL and you have a spare SLOT (ie marked as RESERVED) then you need to run DEFINE CPOWNED command to place the volume in the designated SLOT.
If you do not have a spare SLOT then you will need to update SYSTEM CONFIG and IPL.
