Yes. You're responsible for supplying a legitimate Windows license for the appliance according to the terms of your agreement with MS, whatever that might be, just as you would be for physical hardware, or any other situation where you would use a Windows license. I had intended this to be primarily for server OSes, but apparently there is a lot more interest in desktop OSes than I had thought. Right now, I'd still say that's a release 2 issue, but I've put it onto the list of things to try out.
