Hi List.
I'm in the process of setting up RACFVM so that 1) I can build a database
and 2) share it between VM systems.
I've got 2 3390-Mod3's. Planning to do the following:
1) Format volumes and use VOLSERS something like VMRACP and VMRACB.
2) Attach Volumes to SYSTEM.
3) RACFVM's directory entry:
MDISK 200 3390 1 20 VMRACP MWV READ WRITE MULT
MDISK 300 3390 1 20 VMRACB MWV READ WRITE MULT
These 2 packs will be shared between 2 z/VM 5.4 systems.
Using HCD, the volumes will be SHARED. Do I need to do anything else?
Will what I want work? Or do I need to change my thinking?
