The Unix manuals are fabulous. They're not corporate expiatiation of
contractual responsibility. They're the heart of the developer being
poured
out in front of you.
If you actually read the thing and get to the end of the man page,
you've got it.
It's very concise and pithy you have to think as you read it, but if you
can
understand the man page, you understand the mind of the creators of
Unix.
After you've read the man page, there are any number of sites. But the
way to find the right site for a question you have is to have a fully
formed
question. A site isn't going to walk you into basic shell competency.
That's what 'man sh' is there for.
