VSE 2.2 is not even Y2K certified. IBM has some patches to allow old VSE's to run on newer hardware, but I don't think they go back to 2.2. You would have to contact the z/VSE development group directly to ask. I understand that they require that you commit to installing a supported VSE within 6 months(?) before they will give them to you.
