Hi, Alain. Some things to check for when installing Debian:
1) do the MD5SUM values of the downloaded file match those of specified in the download directory? 2) did you download the binary files using F 80? 3) sometimes kernel panics during install can mean that there is not enough virtual storage available to unzip the initrd file; Try increasing the virtual storage size of your virtual machine.
