The CEC doesn't care, but z/VM does and the answer is "No". The easiest place to see the information is in the z/VM 5.2 (yes, 5.2) General Information manual, Appendix C. z/VM 5.2 is needed before you can operate the controllers in native 2105/2107 mode. Alan Altmark z/VM Development IBM Endicott
