Sure, that's for the 'arbchar-like' matching in $HCPCRC8082I$ which means that it should be anywhere in those 1-80 columns. But that also matches that string anywhere in a message (in this case maybe harmless, but sometimes just not a good idea). The /HCPCRC8082I/ requires that exact string in those columns. | Rob
