See the GCS manual for references to "single user group". You can use the GROUP exec to answer YES to the "Single user environment" question, or specify SGROUP=YES on the CONFIG macro. In either case, rebuild GCS. I'm overstating the "no SNA" restriction. If you want to run VTAM, VSCS, and RSCS in the same virtual machine, you can do it. You can even add AVS and PVMG.
