Hi, I Just checked SYSTEM DTCPARMS, and is as follows .

.**********************************************************************

.* SYSTEM DTCPARMS created by DTCIPWIZ EXEC on 2 Nov 2010

.* Configuration program run by MAINT at 09:29:49

.**********************************************************************

:nick.TCPIP :type.server

               :class.stack

               :attach.A000-A002

* * * End of File * * *

This was obviously created by IPWIZARD. I did not check it Prior to
running IPWIZARD.

Yes the book is very useful especially for me as first time installer of
Z/vm, Thanks

Glad to hear you're using the book. Hopefully it is helpful, but
perhaps not as much so in this example.

It is not mentioned, I agree. The IPWIZARD should handle the OSA devices
being attached to TCPIP by putting an entry in SYSTEM DTCPARMS on the
TCPMAINT 198 disk. I would expect it to have added the following, given
your OSA addresses:

:nick.TCPIP :type.server
               :class.stack
               :attach.A000-A003

Do you see this on the TCPMAINT 198 (D) disk?
