Sergio, If you have an RJE connection between VM and the z/OS system (RSCS can supply that, and also an NJE tool on the Sine Nomine Associates web site), you can send $DMN1 commands to z/OS via that NJE link. If you have automation on the z/OS side, it can intercept those commands, verify that they come from a trusted and authorized source, execute the command, and pass the results back to the NJE-connected system from where they were sent.
We have been doing that for many years. It's not pretty or simple. It requires: - the NJE connection between the z/VM system and the z/OS system, - automation tools on the z/OS system to intercept, validate, check authorization, and process the message as a command - and NETVIEW or another way to execute PIPEs on z/OS if you want the results sent back to the sender The good thing is that it works even on non-guest systems (connected via NJE).
