If you are issuing the DDR command from MAINT, first select a free device and attach it to maint using the MULTIuser attach option.
Then from another ID that is authorized to issue the DFSMSRM command, issue: DFSMSRM MOUNT CAT SCRATCH0 (ATTACH MAINT RDEV xxxx where xxxx is the device you already attached to MAINT. When the first tape is full, go to the second ID and issue the mount command again.
