We found that the TKLM was configured incorrectly. It can also be enabled by setting up the encryption settings with the SET RDEVice command, where they would be picked up automatically on the ATTACH. Example the add statement on the 3592 for z/VSE would have a mode of x’0b’ on the add statement. ADD 680:681,TPA,0B I want to set 680 and 681 to be encrypted as default under z/VM.
