We have a fairly lo-tech method for propogating passwords. When a user gets a new password (in the z/OS realm), a small "encrypted" (it would not stand up to the CIA!) spool file is sent to a virtual machine on VM, which updates the VM:Secure password for the user.
I think the programming for the z/OS guy took longer (creating the spool file and getting it to me) than it took me to set up a machine with a WAKEUP loop and VM:Secure authorization.
