Hi, Alan. The order in which the directory statements for a given user entry in the USER DIRECT file must appear is given in the CP Planning and Administration publication, Chapter 17.
The *DVHOPT statement is an artifact used by DIRMAINT, and is ignored by the DIRECTXA command. As such, it's not really a part of the user directory entry.
