Thanks you for filing this bug.
Tonepy actually has "食" as the 10th candidate, but due to the bug in
ibus-m17n, 10-
th, 20-th, .. an last candidates in candidate window does not appear.
So I modify the summary, hope this bug will be fixed shortly.
