New issue 761 by thjwong: CanJie phrase input and wildcard input do not work
http://code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=761

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
OS (Linux distributions, UNIX or ...): Ubuntu 9.10 Gnome
Architecture (i386, x86_64): x86_64
IBus version: 1.2
Input method name and version: Canjie3 / Canjie5
Python version: 2.6.4
dbus version: ?
dbus-python version:
gtk version (if bug is about gtk applications):
qt version (if bug is about qt applications):

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Trigger the input system Canjie3 or Canjie5
2. One should be able to input with * (wildcard) to input characters (as in
SCIM and Microsoft IME), e.g. entering h*i will give a list of characters
including "hqi" etc...
3. After selecting a character (as in SCIM and Microsoft IME), one should
be able to see a list of phrases and to select from the follow-up phrases.

Please provide any additional information below.
Also, I have to add the follow lines on my .bash_profile in order to have
iBus run in my session, or else the short-cut cannot trigger the input:
# setup for iBus input method
export GTK_IM_MODULE=ibus
export xmodifie...@im=ibus
export QT_IM_MODULE=ibus

Thanks!
