http://code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=807 What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? OS (Linux distributions, UNIX or ...): Gentoo linux Architecture (i386, x86_64): x86_64 IBus version: 1.2.99.20100202 Input method name and version: ibus-table-cangjie 1.2.0.20100305, ibus- pinyin 1.2.99.20100212, ibus-chewing 1.2.99.20100212 Python version: 2.6.4 dbus version: 1.2.3-r1 dbus-python version: 0.83.0-r1 gtk version (if bug is about gtk applications): 2.18.7 qt version (if bug is about qt applications): 4.6.2-r1 What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. start ibus-chewing; the input panel appears even when empty 2. switch to english; the panel is still visible What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I'd expect never see the over-the-spot input panel in English input. Also, it's not necessary to show the panel when it's empty (should appear after the first ㄅㄆㄇㄈ keystroke). Please provide any additional information below. I've attached a screenshot of an unnecessary empty panel.
