New issue 879 by funicorn: ibus stops working in QT after restarted http://code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=879 What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? OS (Ubuntu Lucid): Architecture ( x86_64): IBus version: 1.3.2 Input method name and version: ibus-pinyin 1.3.3 Python version: 2.6.5 dbus version: 1.2.16 dbus-python version: not installed gtk version (if bug is about gtk applications): qt version (if bug is about qt applications): 4.6.2 What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. open a qt application. ibus works fine. 2. type ibus-daemon -r & in the terminal to restart ibus. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? ibus should work fine as before it's restarted. In fact it works fine in gtk. However it stops working in qt. I cannot wake up ibus any more under the input area of any qt application. If I try to wake up ibus by clicking on the ibus icon in the notification area, message shows up saying "there is no input window." Please provide any additional information below. This bug exists since the first time I used ibus. And it exists in all the versions of qt, ibus and ibus-pinyin.The worst thing is I cannot use ibus any more in any qt application until relogin or reboot . -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
