New issue 909 by tisphie: preedit string discarded when input method is changed
http://code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=909 What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Gentoo Linux Architecture (i386, x86_64): i386 IBus version: 1.3.1 Input method name and version: ibus-hangul-1.3.0.20100329 Python version:2.6.2 dbus version:1.2.24 dbus-python version:0.83.0 gtk version (if bug is about gtk applications):2.18.9 qt version (if bug is about qt applications): What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Set input method toggle key as 'Shift-SPC' 2. Input some korean character, but not to commit. For example, during korean-input state with 3Bulsik, press 'kdz' 3. Press 'Shift-SPC' to toggle What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I expected that '김' leaves, but the character '김' disappears. In general, almost Korean people uses 'Hangul' key or 'Shift-SPC' as toggle-input-method. When I press 'Ctrl' or 'Alt' then the charcater comitted but not Shift. Of course Shift shouldn't -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "ibus-devel" group. iBus project web page: http://code.google.com/p/ibus/ iBus dev group: http://groups.google.com/group/ibus-devel?hl=en
