Mmm.
1) after ibus and ibus-chewing update, do they still output same stuff as
your original post (i.e. not your comment 4)
2) from comment 4, looks like you pressed z,Enter, Ctrl_L.
Did ibus-chewing straight went broken after you press Ctrl_L, or you
were trying to disable ibus-chewing by, for example Ctrl-Space
3) Judge from title, if what you press were only z, Enter, then it's the
expected behavior that the preedit buffer shows only ㄈ.
The candidate selection window will only be shown when
a) the word is completed,
and
b) either plain Zhuyin mode is true or
plain Zhuyin mode is false (the default value), but user press Down
arrow or space to enter the candidate selection mode.
'ㄈ' is not consider a completed word, unless you explicitly say that you
want 'ㄈ' by pressing Space
after it.
