I practice drovak for 2 months and reach 50wpm, at this point, I almost forget Qwerty.
One problem is that I need to deal with others' computers quite often, which I need to install dvorak usually. If I need to input Chinese on them, I have to hunt and hit the key on qwerty.
However, the real big problem is that I am using vim on server, and I'm not the only person who take care of the server. When I use dvorak, I would modify the root's vimrc to remap the hjkl keys from qwerty to dvorak, and the qwerty administrators would cry for this :)
Besides, the Chinese input method I used is ZhengMa, a table based one, do not benefit much from dvorak(Maybe PinYin would get more from dvorak).
In conclusion, I decide to move from right track to wrong track. And now I am using qwerty again.
If you do care about the health of your wists, maybe give colemak a try. It keeps the zxcv the same as qwerty, and provide better two hand balance and more home row usage than dvorak:)
