I have the same issue on Ubuntu 10.10 x86_64. A few seconds after the
login, a python process takes 100% one of my cores. When I quit ibus,
everything works fine.
I installed the Japanese language from the "Language support" application
and it does nothing when I change the language from the ibus notification
icon.
When starting ibus-daemon from the terminal, I have an error :
(ibus-daemon:24010): IBUS-CRITICAL **: _context_request_engine_cb:
assertion `bus_input_context_has_focus (context)' failed
I don't know if it is related.
