New issue 1153 by Darten.backsla.sh: Hotkey for specific Input Method activation
http://code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=1153

OS (Linux distributions, UNIX or ...): Ubuntu Maverick
Architecture (i386, x86_64): i686
IBus version: 1.3.7-1ubuntu3
Input method name and version: Chinese mostly
Python version: 2.6.6
dbus version: 1.4.0-0ubuntu1
dbus-python version: 0.83.0-1ubuntu3

This is an enhancement request:

In SCIM I use global hotkeys _very often_ to switch between four input methods. Would be nice to have this in ibus.

Example:
Hotkey Input Method
F5 effectively off: my international Latin keyboard with dead keys
F6 WuBi (writing based simplified Chinese)
F7 Smart Pinyin (sound based Chinese)
F8 Pinyin with numbers in, Pinyin with tone marks out (“Wǒ zhīdào.”)

Would be nice to have that in ibus as well, instead of being forced to cycle trough a bunch of Input Methods.
