New issue 1231 by [email protected]: Annoying sequence in russian
translit
http://code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=1231
OS (Linux distributions, UNIX or ...): Linux Fedora 14
Architecture (i386, x86_64): i386
IBus version: 1.3.9
Input method name and version: russian translit
Python version: ?
dbus version: ?
dbus-python version: ?
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. type sj
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Russian contains very much 'sja' that should be 'ся', but sequence
results 'ща' and similarly 'sjo' should be 'сё', but it does 'що'. As
letter 'щ' can be generated in other ways like 'shch' it is not needed to
support the 'sj' sequence for it.
Current workaround for above problem is to to type 's'+'space'+'ja' and go
back to delete space.
Suggestion 1: Remove sequence 'sj' resulting letter 'щ'.
Suggestion 2: Change sequnce 'w' resulting currently 'в' to result
letter 'щ' as it is done in Translit.ru+.
Please provide any additional information below.
