Why need a 'engine-changed' signal, doesn't 'disabled' and 'enabled' enough? Are there any input methods need to keep status between engine switch?
I thought both disabling engine and switching the engines sends the disabled signal only in the current codes. And your problem is your engine doesn't know if it's just disabled or switched to another engine.
