New issue 1293 by [email protected]: im remains globally enabled even after
disabling it
http://code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=1293
OS: funtoo linux
Architecture: x86_64
IBus: 1.3.99.20110817
Input method: hangul (1.3.1)
Python: 2.5.4, 2.6.6, 2.7.1 (not sure which)
dbus: 1.4.14
dbus-python: 0.84.0
gtk: 3.0.12
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. have ibus configured to "share the same input method among all apps".
2. start ibus daemon and xorg (by default, no input method should be
enabled).
3. open an app (for typing) and enable hangul input method.
4. disable hangul input method.
5. open another app or simply switch focus to another app.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
upon completion of step 5, one would expect the input method to remain
disabled. but instead, ibus reverts back to (enables) the hangul input
method. repeating steps 4 and 5 produces the same problematic result. also,
as expected, the problem does not occur if the user never enables the input
method.
Please provide any additional information below.
the problem wasn't there before updating to this version (1.3.99.20110817).
the previous version i used was 1.3.99.20110419.
Thank you.
