New issue 1354 by [email protected]: Misplacement of Space in Telugu and
other Indian languages
http://code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=1354
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
OS (Linux distributions, UNIX or ...): Ubuntu 11.10
Architecture (i386, x86_64): i386
IBus version: IBus 1.3.99.20110818
Input method name and version: telugu-rts (m17n)
Python version:2.7.2+
dbus version:
dbus-python version:
gtk version (if bug is about gtk applications):
qt version (if bug is about qt applications):
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Choose ibus as default input method on gnome
2. Install m17n package for ibus
3. Choose telugu-rts input method and start typing in any text field.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
If we type a <letter+space>, it gets transformed to <space+letter>. For
example, if I type amma to get అమ్మ, which is a(అ)+mma(మ్మ) I instead get అ
మ్మ(i.e., అ<space>మ్మ).
Any help is appreciated!
