http://code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=1410

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
OS (Linux distributions, UNIX or ...): opensuse 12.1 , ubuntu 11.10
Architecture (i386, x86_64): i386
IBus version: 1.4.0
Input method name and version: ibus-tmpl,any
Python version: 2.7
dbus version:
dbus-python version:
gtk version (if bug is about gtk applications):
qt version (if bug is about qt applications):

What steps will reproduce the problem?
When using gnome3 or unity, i mean any gtk3 based Desktop Environment, then trying to write in any gtk2 app, cursor position doesn't move along with preedit_text.The lookup table also doesn't align or move with the cursor. If using gtk2 based de,like gnome2,this doesn't happen.

See the screenshot below for clear understanding of the problem. I've shown ibus-tmpl engien here, but its a common problem.
