New issue 1418 by [email protected]: Cannot switch active input engine on
the fly
http://code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=1418
I'm running ibus 1.4.0 in ubuntu precise.
I have noticed that when using ibus-setup to switch input engines, the
active engine doesn't actually get switched until ibus-daemon is installed.
To reproduce:
1) Start with a clean setup - no input methods installed at all.
2) open ibus-setup, and add the "Chinese/Pinyin" input method. close
ibus-setup.
* At this point, pinyin is enabled and works. so far so good.
3) open ibus-setup again. Remove pinyin from the list of active input
engines, and add the "Korean/Korean" (hangul) input engine. Close
ibus-setup.
* At this point, the pinyin engine is still running, even though
ibus-setup reports that Korean is the active input engine.
