New issue 1463 by [email protected]: Document the list of input methods
on the website
http://code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=1463
I've been using IBus (Linux) for a couple years now, and I had no idea I
could use it to input plain pīnyīn with tóne màrks. Finally today, I read
on the Wikipedia article that m17n is used for zhùyīn, so I installed m17n,
and found that pīnyīn also requires m17n.
If it is reasonable to do, the IBus website homepage can link to a full
list of available input methods.
Something like this, with installer packages clearly marked, would be fine:
- [m17n (simple translations, composite package)]
- zhuyin (Chinese)
- pinyin (Chinese)
- azerty (French)
- [anki (Japanese, single package)]
- [pinyin (Chinese, single package)]
- [table (complex lookups, composite package)]
- cangjie (Chinese)
- wubi (Chinese)
