Comment #9 on issue 1003 by [email protected]: ibus-1.3.5 blocks some of the gnome-terminal shortcuts
http://code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=1003

I did. Killing ibus-daemon made Ctrl+R work. When ibus-daemon runs even if I choose another input method Ctrl+R doesn't work. Where is ibus configuration stored so I can send it or inspect it myself? Possibly related: the activation shortcut doesn't seem to work, I set it to "<Control>paragraph" but it may have come from testing when I killed and relaunched ibus several times.
I've disabled ibus for now.
Ctrl-shift-R always works instead of Ctrl-R.
When I press and hold Ctrl-R when ibus-daemon is running the cursor in terminal becomes empty as if terminal has lost focus.
