IBus and related packages are already installed in Fedora 17 by default.

However, the obvious "Region and Language" doesn't work.
Users have to use "Input Method Selector" app or "im-chooser" command.
None of which is obvious, in my opinion.

A draft Fedora documentation does mention such practice.
http://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/Fedora_Draft_Documentation/0.1/html/User_Guide/chap-User_Guide-Customizing_the_desktop.html
But you will find that the way of starting "Input Method Selector" app
is still mentioned in GNOME 2 style.

Fedora 17's release notes mentioned that CJK engines from ibus-m17n
are excluded by default.
http://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/Fedora/17/html/Release_Notes/sect-Release_Notes-Changes_for_Desktop.html#id552617
That sounds good.
But end result is that I cannot find CJK input methods by default
without use "Show all input methods".
Yes, I'm using English locale.
But this should be a common practice in many regions.

Ma Xiaojun
