I just tested ibus-table based input methods on Ubuntu 12.04.
Chinese mode can be remembered, even if ibus-daemon is restarted.
So I'd like to close this issue now.
If you have different experience, please post a message on ibus-user. We
will try our best to help you. If there is enough evidence that the problem
still exist in upstream. We will reopen this issue.
