Do you have compose.db under /usr/share/ibus-table/tables? You may just
delete it.
You should also make sure that icon specified in human-readable (txt) table
file is accessible in /usr/share/ibus-table/icons
I'm quite confident that ibus-table from official repository or git won't
suffer problem like the one you reported on Ubuntu 12.04.
So I'd like to close this issue as CanNotRepro.
It would be nice if you can tell us the Ubuntu release you were using. If
that Ubuntu release is still supported in Ubuntu release cycle, I will look
into it.
If you still have problem to solve, feel free to reply here or ask in
ibus-user.
